The plain-English promises between you and Penforte Press Ltd. If anything here is unclear, email hello.penforte@gmail.com and we'll explain.
Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Penforte Press Ltd
These terms cover your use of penforte.com and any book, cover, editing, publishing-assistance or printing work Penforte Press Ltd ("Penforte", "we", "us") does for you ("you", "the client"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.
Penforte is a done-for-you publishing service. Depending on your order, we may write, ghostwrite, edit, illustrate, design covers for, format, or help publish and print your book. Every project is quoted individually.
Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions on the draft so we can get it right. Extra rounds, or changes to the agreed scope (new chapters, a different concept, a redesign), are quoted separately. Turnaround times we give are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and can shift if your feedback or materials arrive late.
When your final balance is paid in full, you own the finished manuscript and cover and may publish them under your own name and account. Until then, all work remains our property. We may show non-confidential samples of finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
We put real craft into every book, but we cannot and do not promise any particular sales, rankings, reviews, income or approval by any store. Publishing outcomes depend on many things outside our control.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost sales).
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Penforte Press Ltd is registered. Nothing here removes any rights you have that cannot be waived by law.
We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to build your book and talk to you about it, and we never sell your data.
Your data is held on secure, reputable third-party infrastructure and protected by access rules so that, in normal use, you can only see your own account and orders. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no online service can promise perfect security.
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it where needed to run the service (for example, secure hosting and payment providers) or where the law requires it.
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Just email hello.penforte@gmail.com. We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember your display preferences.
We want you happy with your book. Here's exactly how refunds work, so there are no surprises.
If you pay a deposit and we haven't started work yet, you can cancel for a full refund of that deposit.
Because our work is custom and time-based, the deposit becomes partly non-refundable once we begin — it pays for the hours already spent. If you cancel mid-project, we refund any portion that covers work not yet done, and keep the portion for work already completed. We'll always show you where things stand.
Once the finished files are delivered and the balance is paid, the sale is complete and is not refundable. What you get instead is our revision promise: if something in the delivered work is wrong or not what we agreed, tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it under the included revisions.
Email hello.penforte@gmail.com with your account email and what you'd like. We aim to respond within a few business days.
